Important: Vehicle must be returned no later than the date and time stated unless a renewal or extension is approved and paid for in advance.

3 Rental Payments, Methods & Security Deposit

No other payment methods are accepted unless approved in writing by Owner.

Rental Fee: $_____ per week

RENEWAL PAYMENT DEADLINE (IMPORTANT)

All rental renewal payments MUST be received and confirmed no later than 5:30 PM on the scheduled return date.

Payments made after 5:30 PM will be considered late and invalid for renewal, even if sent the same day.

Failure to renew by 5:30 PM will result in:

Automatic rental termination
Late return fees
Possible vehicle recovery or repossession
GPS enforcement and towing at renter's expense

Fee Payment Deadline

All balances, damage charges, tolls, late fees, fuel charges, and service fees must be paid in full by 5:30 PM on the return date unless otherwise stated.

Failure to pay may result in deposit forfeiture and legal collection action.

Late Return Fees

$25 per hour past return time

Maximum $200 per day

4 Fuel, Maintenance & Condition

Vehicle provided with full fuel
Must be returned full or $100 fuel + service fee applies
Renter responsible for maintaining vehicle condition and cleanliness
No smoking of cigarettes or marijuana (vaping permitted)
Mechanical issues must be reported immediately

5 Use Restrictions

Renter agrees NOT to:

Use vehicle for illegal activity, racing, towing, or unauthorized commercial use
Operate Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, or delivery services without written approval
Allow unauthorized drivers

6 Insurance & Liability

Active auto insurance required
Proof required before vehicle release
Renter responsible for damages, theft, accidents, and third-party claims
Renter responsible for tickets, tolls, and violations
If insurance is denied or invalid, renter is fully financially responsible

7 GPS Tracker / Anti-Tampering Policy

The vehicle contains GPS tracking.

Tampering, disabling, or signal loss beyond 12 hours will result in:

Vehicle reported as stolen
Renter responsible for all recovery, towing, and legal costs

8 Damage, Accidents & Breakdown

Owner must be notified immediately
Police report required when applicable
Repairs not allowed without Owner approval
If stolen or totaled, renter pays fair market value

9 Vehicle Condition Photo Documentation & Acknowledgment

Photos and/or video will be taken before release and upon return.

By signing, Renter:

Acknowledges vehicle received in acceptable operating condition
Agrees photos/videos serve as official condition evidence
Accepts responsibility for new damage or missing items
Authorizes Owner to use documentation for deductions, claims, or legal purposes

10Termination

The owner may terminate this Agreement for violations, unsafe use, non-payment, or failure to renew by 7:30 PM. Immediate return of vehicle is required.

11Indemnification

Renter agrees to hold harmless A&B Luxury Apartments from all claims, damages, losses, and liabilities arising from vehicle use.

12Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
